Living Pages — terms of service

Version 2026-10-17-v9 · 17 October 2026. These terms govern Living Pages account creation, uploads, generation, private account Gallery storage and purchases when this version is offered for acceptance. Account sign-in is available. Generation requires an eligible account and enough credits. A signed-in account keeps eligible Gallery items privately backed up and restored automatically; platform credit purchases may be offered separately by platform and territory. Accepting these terms does not itself purchase anything or waive consumer rights.

1. Operator and contact

Living Pages is provided by Georgi Kostov, trading as Studio Kostov, Breitwiesenstraße 22, Tür 7, 4481 Asten, Austria. See operator details. Contact support@studiokostov.com for service issues and privacy@studiokostov.com for data-protection requests.

2. What the service does

Bring your drawings to life: you select and crop a drawing, then explicitly request a short AI-generated animation. The current route sends that crop through our service to fal H3. Scanning, cropping, AR tracking and the working Gallery run on your device. Scanning and cropping alone send no drawing or camera frames to our service or AI providers and do not require an account. Opening the camera or confirming a crop does not itself approve an upload or accept these terms. There is no public feed. After you sign in and accept this version, eligible drawing references, generated videos, titles and association metadata are stored privately for that account and reconciled automatically after reinstalling or changing devices. Generated motion is an artificial interpretation, not a record of a real event, and may be inaccurate or unexpected. An adult should review the video before showing it to a child; we do not guarantee that every result is suitable for children.

Only the picture selected for generation is uploaded for AI processing, not the surrounding camera stream. For a signed-in account, the app automatically uploads eligible saved pairs and retains new drawing/video pairs as part of completing a generation. It automatically downloads missing completed pairs owned by the same account and retries interrupted transfers. Temporary provider processing, private account storage and service records are explained in the privacy notice. A submitted request may finish even if you close the app. Leaving the camera does not delete saved pages.

3. Adults and permitted artwork

Before creating an account, purchasing credits or uploading any artwork, you must confirm that you are at least 18 and have reached the legal age of majority where you live, and agree to these terms and the privacy notice. Scanning and cropping take place locally before this confirmation; no age question is shown before those local actions. Adults, including parents and guardians, are responsible for account creation, uploads, generation and purchases. Children can create artwork and watch a result an adult has reviewed. Do not give a child independent access to an account, uploads, generation or purchases. The confirmation is a declaration, not proof of age.

For a child's drawing, you must be their parent or guardian with authority to permit this processing and use on their behalf. Authorship and any copyright remain with the rights holder; being a parent does not automatically make you the copyright owner. School/classroom or third-party children's collections are outside this service's intended use. Do not assume a teacher, relative or adult with a copy can authorise all uses.

Only animate artwork you created and control, artwork for which you have the necessary permission to upload and animate through our service and fal, or public-domain material where the proposed use is unrestricted by other rights. Buying, borrowing or possessing a book or image does not by itself provide those permissions. Being privately viewed does not override these input conditions.

An original drawing made by a child can qualify. Tracing a protected character, copying an illustration or colouring a purchased colouring page does not by itself give you the underlying rights. Before scanning, cover names, signatures, school details and other identifiers and keep people and personal photographs out of the crop. Use original imaginary subjects without sensitive or identifying details. We do not automatically detect or remove all personal information.

Your confirmation is your declaration, not a copyright clearance issued by Living Pages. Before each Animate action, ensure that the selected picture meets this policy. If unsure, use another image or obtain permission. We do not ask for identity documents or licence documents by default and do not claim to verify every image's copyright status.

Do not upload sensitive or confidential documents, identification or medical records, or sensitive personal content. Where a picture identifies a real person, you must have the necessary lawful permission for that person's data and likeness. Do not submit child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, unlawful impersonation, harassment, threats or other illegal content. Do not use generated media as misleading evidence or to infringe copyright, personality or privacy rights. Do not bypass safety checks, service security or access restrictions.

4. Limited processing permission

Before any drawing upload, the app presents one agreement statement confirming adulthood, the terms and privacy notice, permission to upload and animate the artwork, and permission for fal to process drawings you choose to animate. Continuing from that statement records those declarations for the displayed terms version. A sign-in or purchase statement that mentions only age, terms and privacy does not grant artwork-upload or AI-processing permission. Gallery sync stays paused until the full agreement has been accepted; the Gallery agreement resumes sync without requesting an animation. Accepting an agreement does not itself charge you.

You retain the rights you have in your input. You permit us and our disclosed providers to reproduce, transmit, process and modify that input only as needed to fulfil the requested animation, deliver it and carry out the disclosed retention and cleanup. For signed-in accounts, this permission also covers automatically storing, checking, reconciling, restoring and deleting the private account copy. Reports and privacy requests are processed to handle the issue you submit. This permission does not authorise publishing your library, selling your pictures or using them in our advertising or model training.

Any output rights are limited to rights we can pass through under the provider agreement. We do not promise that an AI output is unique, copyright-protected or free of third-party rights. These terms do not license an artist's, publisher's or depicted person's rights that you do not already have.

5. Access and payments

You can create an adult account using email, Google or Apple. Keep your login secure and sign in with the same account to recover your balance and any Gallery items backed up to that account. Generation is available only where access and sufficient credits are provided. Promotional credits have no cash value. If a welcome-credit campaign is available, its advertised eligibility and limits apply. Availability shown before sign-in is advisory and may change before an animation is admitted. A welcome credit is granted only when an eligible animation is admitted, not merely when an account is created. The app shows the selected animation's price before admission; if that price changes, it asks you to review it again. Where paid credit packs are offered, the store screen shows the pack, total price and applicable terms before the Apple App Store or Google Play confirms the purchase. A purchase adds consumable service credits to the signed-in account; it does not buy a particular creative result. Receipt verification, duplicate protection, reversals and refunds may adjust the credit balance. Creating an account does not itself grant credits or charge you.

Store cancellation, refund and statutory rights remain available as required by the applicable store and law. Agreement to these terms is not consent to a charge or to any waiver of withdrawal rights; any legally required consent for immediate digital supply must be obtained in the purchase flow.

6. Local deletion and privacy rights

The confirmation in your app explains whether you are removing a local copy or deleting an item from your account backup. In versions that support account Gallery deletion, the request is sent when the device is online and the app retries interrupted requests during later syncs. Other devices signed in to the same account with a supporting app version apply the deletion when they next sync; older versions may retain local copies. A local-only removal made in an older version is not converted into an account deletion. Deletion does not affect exported ZIPs, copies you have shared, or copies saved outside Living Pages; delete the copies you control separately. A drawing/video pair previously deleted from your account backup is not backed up again if you re-import it; that imported copy stays on the device. You can request deletion of specific copies we hold, or close your account, through the privacy-request process. Signing in with the same linked email, Google or Apple login automatically downloads missing completed pairs and rebuilds the device's local recognition data. Recovery is limited to items that completed upload; pending, failed or never-uploaded items cannot be recreated. Signing out stops that device's transfers but does not erase existing account copies. Account closure or an erasure request starts deletion of those copies, subject to the retention limits in the privacy notice.

You can export, share and import portable Gallery ZIP archives containing the pictures, videos, titles and associations included in the archive. Protect these readable files and share only where you have the necessary rights. Import restores the included items, not files that were not included in the archive. A ZIP does not include your server credit balance or account credentials. Signed-out imports stay on the device. After sign-in and acceptance of the current terms, imported items follow that account's Gallery backup rules, including supported completed files and available storage. Items already associated with another account are not uploaded into a different account. A drawing/video pair previously deleted from your account backup is not backed up again if you re-import it; that imported copy stays on the device. Gallery files are not included in automatic Android app-data backup or device-to-device transfer. Losing access to every linked login or recovery credential may prevent account recovery. These limitations do not exclude our responsibility for defective software or mandatory consumer rights.

Settings → Account and credits → Delete account closes access and starts manual account and supplier deletion. You can also request deletion at Delete your account. We confirm completion and explain any required retention, normally within one month.

Privacy → Privacy requests lets you request access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection concerning service records and receive a reference and response deadline. Erasure, restriction and objection requests pause new generation while handled. They do not automatically delete local saved pages, already submitted provider work, or records that must lawfully be retained. We explain the outcome and any applicable limitations. You can also contact privacy@studiokostov.com. Reset upload permissions affects future approval on this device; it does not undo processing already performed.

7. Reports and enforcement

Use Settings → Report a problem for harmful, copyright, privacy or technical issues. Reports contain your text and service identity; no image or video is attached automatically. Rights holders can use the copyright contact instructions. We may request information proportionate to an actual dispute.

We may pause or restrict generation to address credible reports, misuse, unlawful activity or security risks, including provider-required restrictions. Where lawful and practicable we explain the reason and offer a way to contest mistakes through support. We do not promise that an agreement action prevents all misuse. Keeping a local library private does not remove our duty to handle reports or comply with applicable law.

8. Responsibility and consumer rights

We cannot guarantee a particular creative result or tracking quality on every device. We remain responsible as required by law, including intentional or grossly negligent conduct, personal injury, mandatory consumer remedies and data-protection duties. No clause transfers all liability to you or excludes rights that cannot be excluded.

Austrian law applies without depriving EU consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules remain applicable; these terms impose no compulsory private arbitration or exclusive Austrian court for consumers.

9. Changes

A material change to the input policy, storage recipients or service terms will be explained and require renewed approval where needed before further generation or automatic Gallery sync. Local saved playback does not require acceptance of a new generation policy. The app records the accepted version and declarations; repeat uploads do not require accepting the same policy again unless permission was reset. Contact support if you cannot access the documents.
